Hiding "personal preferences tab" in plone user preferencias -

plone user preferences has 3 tabs: "personal information", "personal preferences" , "password". want hide "personal preferences" tab because don't want user changes/sees fields contained within.

i tried this:

hiding fields in "personal preferences" tab, explained in "hide custom fields on @@personal-information view". tab still appears empty.

any other ways accomplish this?

another option go zmi -> portal_actions -> preferences , uncheck "visible" , click save.
