jsf 2 - how can I fix Value is not valid when selectOneMenu items are changed? -

being newbie @ jsf, i've ran situation don't understand how solve. have page 2 selectonemenu objects (financialcolumn, linesofbusiness) depending on values of 2 other selectonemenu objects (year, businesstype). contents of financialcolumn & linesofbusiness can different depending on year or businesstype selected (all components requestscoped beans).

the issue i'm trying figure out long don't change or go original values of financialcolumn & linesofbusiness report page displays when change businesstype value causes complete change in financialcolumn & linesofbusiness values receive "•criteria:financialcolumn: validation error: value not valid". why happening , how can fix it?
