Is there Android API to control global http proxy? -

i looking android api allow control global http proxy on android.

i not interested in solutions involve rooting device.

however, ok api works on latest version of os (if such api exist).

no, there no api this. need ask user apply change if that's necessary, cannot code w/o rooting
